Support your body and mind during pregnancy and post-partum with gentle, nurturing massage. Each session is tailored to relieve tension, reduce stress, and improve comfort, helping you feel relaxed, balanced, and cared for throughout this special time.

Babes in arms welcome.

NB. I charge for my time so if you need to cancel, please make sure there is 24hours notice.

Benefits of Prenatal Massage:

  • Physical Relief: Alleviates muscle cramps, joint pain, and tension in the back, hips, and legs.

  • Reduced Swelling: Increases lymphatic circulation, which helps manage edema in legs and ankles.

  • Reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation

  • Alleviates headaches and promotes better sleep

  • Supports posture and eases pregnancy-related discomfort

  • Encourages gentle stretching and flexibility

  • Provides a safe, nurturing space to connect with your body and your baby

  • Emotional Health: Lowers stress hormones (cortisol) and eases anxiety, benefiting both mother and baby.

Massage during a healthy, uncomplicated pregnancy is safe and really beneficial. Both the NHS and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recommend it, especially for easing back pain.

If your pregnancy is a bit more complicated, or if you’ve had complications in the past, it may still be safe to have a massage. I’m always happy to chat through any questions or concerns before you book a treatment. It’s also a good idea to check with your midwife before trying any complementary therapy during this time.

Massage can be safe and supportive at any stage of pregnancy—even in the later weeks. It’s a wonderful way to ease tension, relax your body, and reconnect with yourself and your baby.

Benefits of Postnatal Massage:

  • Relieves tension and soreness, especially in the back, shoulders, and neck

  • Reduces stress and supports emotional well-being after birth

  • Helps improve sleep and relaxation

  • Aids circulation and recovery after pregnancy and delivery

  • Supports posture and eases discomfort from breastfeeding or carrying your baby

  • Encourages gentle stretching and flexibility

  • Provides a nurturing space to reconnect with your body and care for yourself

If you’ve had a difficult birth, complications, or a cesarean, it’s always wise to check in with your doctor or midwife before booking a massage. They can advise on timing and any precautions, so your treatment is safe and supportive for your recovery. Once you have the go-ahead, postnatal massage can be a wonderful way to ease tension, support healing, and nurture yourself during this important time.

Above all massage is healing and I use energy healing and intuitive touch. I am a reiki practitioner but find I am drawn more to the elemental healing energy and the natural world.

If you have a medical health condition, please check with your doctor beforehand.
