New Season, New Chapter

ree

This summer has been beautiful but full-on. Between family, travel, our glamping business and the constant hum of busy days, I’ve felt that familiar mix of joy and overwhelm that summer often brings. The long evenings and moments of freedom were wonderful, but I’ve also found myself craving stillness, rhythm, and a little more space to sit with my cats and breathe!

That’s why I’m really looking forward to starting this new term. Stepping onto the mat after a season like summer feels like a gentle homecoming—an invitation to slow down, stretch out, and reconnect with yourself. It’s about finding balance again after months that may have pulled you in many directions.

This September also marks a new beginning for me personally. For years now, I have dreamt of becoming a Doula. I've waited for my children to grow and along the way I have learnt and grown myself as well as having had the honour of supporting a few women, but this October I will be starting my training and stepping in to the role of Doula professionally. Supporting women through birth and mothering has been in my heart for a long time, and it feels like a natural extension of what I already do through yoga: holding space, offering calm presence, and reminding women of their strength and intuition.

Just as yoga teaches us to listen deeply to our bodies, the role of a doula is to walk alongside women as they listen to theirs—to provide reassurance, comfort, and encouragement at one of life’s most powerful thresholds. It feels like such an honour to be opening this path alongside my yoga teaching.

I will still be offering EFT, Matrix and Birth Re-imprinting, however I am repackaging these amazing tools into more rounded and open coaching sessions so I can fully intuit, guide and support you in your own healing or transitional journey. These sessions can be in person or online.

Massage will continue to be offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

So as the new term begins, I’m excited to be holding space in a few ways—on the mat, where we’ll continue to stretch, move, and breathe together, coaching and massage and in the birth room, where I’ll be supporting women through one of the most transformative journeys of their lives.

If you’d like to join me in class this term, please get in touch. Although Mondays are full, I am starting a new class after the October half term (day to be confirmed soon) and once a month will be offering a yin yoga and sauna workshop to replenish the soul and fill your cup with good vibes as well as other events. Please subscribe to be notified of any new events.

And if you’re pregnant, planning for birth, or navigating early motherhood and feel you’d like support, please do reach out.

As always if you're feeling stuck, anxious, tired and low or have unresolved trauma you feel is holding you back, please feel free to reach out for a friendly chat to see how I maybe able to help or if we feel I am not the right person, I know lots of amazing therapists and body workers I can put you in touch with.

Here’s to fresh starts, sweet steady breath, and this beautiful season of new beginnings.

Love and blessings

Jess
